Audirvāna significantly reduces its CPU or progress load by buffering the audio (RAM) and performing digital processing and decoding of the audio data before playback. To do this and to avoid altering the audio stream, Audirvāna needs exclusive access to your computer's processor. This guarantees an unaltered data stream from end to end of the processing chain (bit-perfect).
