To transfer your favorites quickly from one computer to another, we added a backup feature in Audirvāna settings.

Note: this backup only affect your local favorites as the streaming favorites are stored on your streaming service

Create a backup of your favorites

In this article:

• Create a backup of your playlists
  • Step 1: Go into Audirvāna settings
  • Step 2: Click on the Backup button
• Restoring your playlists
  • Step 1: Go into Audirvāna settings
  • Step 2: Click on the Restore button

Step 1: Go into Audirvāna settings

You will need to click on the Local/Library section of Audirvāna settings to access the option:

Step 2: Click on the Backup button

In the backup section, click the Backup button, name your file, and select where you want to store it.

Once created, you end up with a file with audirvana_bck extension.

Note: this create a backup of your playlists, favorites and the artists pictures you added in Audirvāna.

Restoring your favorites

Step 1: Go into Audirvāna settings

You will need to click on the Local/Library section of Audirvāna settings to access the option:

Step 2: Click on the Restore button 

In the backup section, click the Restore button, select your file, and click Open.

A popup will appear to inform you about the restoration.
