When you sync a folder with Audirvāna, we use the metadata stored in your tracks and sort the content in Audirvāna according to it.
Audirvāna Studio has a built-in system for retrieving missing metadata but does not add them to your file.
Edit the 'Sort as' metadata field
In this article:
Step 1: Select an album, track(s) or artist
You can edit the metadata of the album or artist itself as well as one or more tracks. To edit multiple tracks, select one track, hold Shift ⇧, and select a different track.
Step 2: Open metadata editor
When you can edit metadata in Audirvāna, you can click on this icon in the toolbar to open the metadata editor of Audirvāna:
Step 3: Change the value in the 'Sort as' field
If, for example, you want to sort 'The Beatles' as 'Beatles', you need to put this information in the 'Sort as' field for your artist.
Once you have changed, press 'Enter' and click 'Save'. Your album, artist, or track(s) are now at the right place in Audirvāna.
