How to calculate Replay Gain in Audirvāna ?

Volume leveling—or Replay Gain—allows you to listen to music at an even volume, for instance, in a playlist or compilation you have created, avoiding disturbing volume jumps between tracks.


The Replay Gain value sometimes needs to be added to your local library albums or tracks. But Audirvāna can calculate it for you in the background.

Calculate Replay Gain in Audirvāna


In this article:

In the Local/Library settings


While you start the album analysis, you get a list of all the albums with Replay Gain missing in their metadata. You can select all the albums or specific ones before starting the Analysis:


In the Audio settings


You have the option to open the view where you can start the analysis of your albums in the Audio settings of Audirvāna under the Volume leveling section:



Recompute replay gain


Each track also has its replay gain; if your track doesn't have it or you would like to recompute it, you need to select the track and go to the Infos tab of the metadata editor.
